Description

Clear Rock is a fast paced, growing boutique Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) company located in Jersey City’s financial district. We are conveniently located a block from the Exchange Place PATH station, the NJT Light Rail stop, and the NY Waterway ferry terminal.

We have an excellent full-time career opportunity for an Administrative Assistant. You will work with seasoned professionals performing a wide range of tasks, including answering phones, office clerical support, preparing correspondence, and scheduling.

Two+ years similar experience is required, with a college degree preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Greeting vendors, customers and other visitors upon entrance of the office
  • Projecting a professional business image through direct phone and email interaction as the first point of contact
  • Answer, screen and transfer phone calls; taking accurate messages
  • Data entry using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Assist in the preparation of all internal and external correspondence
  • Maintain and update client and contact lists
  • Draft and prepare confidential correspondence and assimilate the necessary information to respond to inquiries
  • Administrative / Clerical support to all employees as necessary including but not limited to filing, photocopying, scanning, and maintaining files
  • Coordinate, plan, organize, and carry out special administrative projects
  • Other Duties as Assigned
Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in a similar field
  • Superior customer service skills and phone etiquette
  • Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • High energy level and the ability to multi-task effectively
  • Ability to interact professionally with high-level executives on a regular basis
  • Must have superior experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must be able to handle numerous projects at one time and prioritize them effectively
  • Must be positive, motivated and eager to learn
